Leukemia is a form of cancer and like other forms of cancer it begins in cells which make up blood and other kinds of tissues. The body usually produces cells that grow and divide as needed. Sometimes the process of cell creation goes wrong and new cells are created when they are not needed, while old cells do not die when they are supposed to.

Why this topic?

Why did I choose this topic? For me personally is a way to respect the ones who have lost the battle with this illness, and teach other who just know the basic, or just know the basics. I did a capstone of this in my first semester of my senior year (2012), and I learned that people just know that this illness is around, but have no clue how, this comes up, or how it develops. Did you know? Leukemia affects about 3,500 children each year in the United States. There are many different types of Leukemia. Leukemia affects more children from ages of 2 years and 4 years. Symptoms? Tiredness, weakness, dizzy, short of breath, skin or gums may be pale This is just basics, but through this blog spot,i'll talk about different organization, there is to help out, and what can any person do to help the victims of this illness.
